Color Grading and Skin Retouch

The same way as natural make-up is key in nowaday’s people and fashion photography, only a natural retouch sustains and completes it but maintaining this natural look is more difficult than over-doing it. I will teach you how to get the most natural yet clean skin result. Additionally, we’re taking care of the whole process before and after skin editing. The Color Grading is your signature and it transforms a snap into a professional image. We’re also looking at how to correct imperfections of the shape, the clothing, and the background. As a finish we’ll have a look at all the grey layers that help us to dodge & burn, add grain or sharpen images.

Which topics we’re covering :

• How to photograph portraits with natural light
• Camera settings for natural light photography
• Useful equipment to have for shooting with natural light
• Adobe Lightroom (colour management, selection, data handling)
• Adobe Photoshop (liquifying, colour correction, skin retouch, dodge & burn, sharpening, grain)
• Working on your own photography
• Your individual questions
